The President of the Regional Government of Extremadura, Guillermo Fernández Vara; the Mayor of Plasencia, Fernando Pizarro; the Economic Affairs and Infrastructures Councillor of Extremadura, José Luis Navarro; the Managing Director of People and Resources of Gas Natural Fenosa, Rosa Mª Sanz; the Managing Director of Wholesale Businesses of Gas Natural Fenosa, Manuel Fernández; and the General Manager of Gas Natural Fenosa Renovables, Ana Peris, officially laid the first stone for the Merengue wind farm, the first to be built in the Autonomous Region of Extremadura.
The President of ASEIF (the Valencia Association of Plumbing, Heating, Gas and Other Fluid Installers), Francisco Alonso, and the General Manager of Nedgia Cegas, Celestina López, have renewed the agreement under which the power company will maintain its position as a partner of this business association. The two entities have been working together for 10 years on promoting the use of natural gas as an environmentally-friendly source of energy that brings efficiency and competitiveness to industrial sectors in the Region of Valencia.
GAS NATURAL FENOSA has launched a series of actions aimed at making it easier for its customers to receive the new subsidised rate, which came into force last October and which they can apply for until 10 April. The action plan designed by the power company includes initiatives aimed at certain groups considered to be especially sensitive in this regard, such as the unemployed and pensions, in order to make it easier for them to apply for the new Subsidised Rate.
The Mayor of Albacete, Manuel Serrano, and the General Manager of Nedgia Castilla-La Mancha, Miguel Martín de Pinto, held a work meeting at Albacete City Hall today which was also attended by the distribution company’s provincial delegate, Manuel Sánchez as well as councillor for Public Works and Energy Efficiency, Julián Garijo.
GAS NATURAL FENOSA will increase its number of CNG vehicle refuelling stations in Spain. The energy company plans to open 50 supply points in the country, in a number of cities including Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Valencia, Zaragoza, Seville, Málaga, Murcia, Alicante, Córdoba, Valladolid, Vigo, Gijón, La Coruña and Santander. The opening of these points will bring the total number of the company’s public CNG stations in Spain to 100.
GAS NATURAL FENOSA is improving its customer service for residential customers and SMEs in the city of Lugo, with the opening of its first centre there at Calle Bolaño Rivadeneira, no. 1, bajo. The new office will be open to the public from Monday to Friday, from 9 am-3 pm and 4 pm-6 pm.
