Today, the Mayor of Talavera de la Reina, Jaime Ramos, and the General Manager of Nedgia Castilla-La Mancha, Miguel Martín de Pinto, held a working meeting at the municipality’s Town Hall in the province of Toledo which was also attended by the energy company’s provincial delegate, Germán Jara.

During the meeting, the councillor and the company’s representatives shared their common interests regarding improving infrastructures and services for the local population, and ways to jointly develop gas-related projects so as to enable more people in Talavera de la Reina to have access to the benefits of this clean and low carbon emission energy.

The Nedgia managers showed their conviction that the use of natural gas will be key in improving air quality in cities, and explained the actions implemented by the gas distribution company to promote the use or vehicle natural gas in the transport of passengers and goods, as has already been set up in other areas in the region which enjoy cleaner public transport thanks to this type of energy.

Finally, both parties have committed to maintaining the existing close relationship in order to encourage technical contributions and corporate social responsibility projects in Talavera.
