Joaquín Mendiluce, New Business Manager at Naturgy, appointed as Chairman of Gasnam

  • The Board of Directors of the Iberian Association for Gas-powered Mobility (GASNAM) approved the appointment of Joaquín Mendiluce earlier today to replace José Ramón Freire, who had held the post since 2013.

The New Business Manager of Naturgy, Joaquín Mendiluce, was appointed as Chairman of the Iberian Association for Gas-powered Mobility (GASNAM) earlier today. The Board of Directors of the organisation ratified his appointment as chairman today, in representation of Naturgy and replacing José Ramón Freire, who had held the post since the association was set up in 2013.

Joaquín Mendiluce has a Degree in Law and Economics from the University of Navarre and a Degree in Finance from L’Ecole Superior de Commerce de Poitiers. He also has a Global Executive MBA from Georgetown and an Executive MBA from the IE Business School.

He began his professional career at Accenture and then joined Gas Natural Fenosa (now Naturgy), where he has held the following posts over the last 14 years: Natural Gas Distribution Accesses, Revenue and Procurement Manager, Regulated Natural Gas Business Planning Manager, Gas Natural Fenosa Shared Distribution Services Manager, General Manager of Gas Natural Europe and General Manager of Gas Natural Comercializadora. He is currently the New Business Manager of Naturgy.
