Naturgy is the energy company’s new brand, replacing ‘Gas Natural Fenosa’, and with which it will take on the new challenges defined in the Strategic Plan 2018-2022. This new name will cover the company’s businesses in Spain and internationally. In this manner the new brand of the parent company will be Naturgy Energy Group, S.A.
The Executive Director of NEDGIA, Nuria Rodríguez, together with the CEOs of GREDF (France), Edouard Sauvage, Distrigaz Sud Retele (Romania), Dan Pantilie, Italgas (Italy), Pablo Gallo, and Galp Gás Natural Distribuição (Portugal), Gabriel Sousa, met in Brussels earlier today with the EU Transport Commissioner, Violeta Bulc, to present the advantages of natural gas and renewable gas for the decarbonisation of transport in Europe.
GAS NATURAL FENOSA has unloaded the first shipment of Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Spain under a long-term contract with a capacity for 172,600 cubic metres of gas, which equates to one month’s consumption in Madrid, and will be allocated to supplying south-west Europe.
Over 20 organisations, including service companies, technology companies and research organisations in Catalonia, make up the Utilities 4.0 Community, which was set up to transform the service sector in the medium term and implement the industry 4.0 paradigm in Catalan society in the provision of basic services and resources.
Gas Natural Servicios, the supply company of GAS NATURAL FENOSA, and the Association of Self-employed Workers of Navarre have signed an agreement to provide members of this federation with a wide offer of energy, services and energy solutions aimed at improving the energy efficiency of self-employed workers.
GAS NATURAL FENOSA and the Algerian company SONATRACH (Société Nationale pour la Recherche, la Production, le Transport, la Transformation et la Commercialisation des Hydrocarbures, S.p.A), have signed an agreement to renew the gas procurement contracts from Algeria to Spain spanning to 2030 and which currently represent more than 40% of GAS NATURAL FENOSA’s overall gas procurement.
